Is That An Umbrella or Are You Just Happy to See Me?

Believe it or not, this dress is made of umbrella fabric and is designed by Brooklyn's Catherine Charlot with a group of other "Trashy Divas" participated in a fashion show featuring garments made from upcycled sources such as umbrella fabric, men's shirts and pants as well as jewelry made of trash bags--including the choker and blue bangle pictured above. SMART ART AT TERRACYCLE STORE, PORT AUTHORITY, NYC, THRU MAY 21

"SMART ART" by July 26 Twin, Phoebe, is now on display through May 21 at the TerraCycle Store in Port Authority, NYC at 41st Street and 8th Avenue. Store hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There's a PARTY for the pop-up shop on Thursday, May 20 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free, but RSVP is required. Hope to see you there!
