Wearing pajamas outside of your indoor confines? Those list-making fanatics in their conformist, right-wing Republican quest to tell the rest of us what to do, say that our "comfytime" jammies aren’t welcome in the streets. We say, before you go passing judgement on everybody, consider that there may be some worthy exceptions. Worthy Hefner, uh, we mean Hugh, that is. And Phoebe has the crush on Rip Van Winkle.
PJs in public = fine, de rigueur! e.g., Faye Dunaway often went to get her Chinese take-out in robe (per various and sundry, neighbors of hers I knew; Upper East Side as I recall?) PLUS, don't forget Vincent "The Chin" Gigante - always out and about in a robe/pajamas in the Village to buttress insanity defense! not to mention me! (jammies, st. clothes, same shit - but with panache!)
