Are today's students studying enough arts, math and science to design the clothes of tomorrow? Are we all going to have to become nudists?

Clothing, shoes and accessories all have an underlying structure and all of the components have to be assembled in a certain order.  Without math skills, how does one figure out how much fabric goes into a suit jacket?  Without an arts background, how can a designer come up with something new?

Mae Jemison is an art collector, and a dancer.  And, by the way, she's also a Ph.D., a scientist and an astronaut.  Thank goodness NASA has enough American scientists with enough artistic skills to develop functional spacecraft and space clothing. And thank goodness Mae Jemison received enough science and art instruction so that she could conduct experiments and fly into space for NASA.

But what about the future?
